Sound Card Detection
 

I am having trouble with my sound. I have the volume all the way up on my speakers but the sound is minimal. I tried KMix and all the volumes are at maximum. When I try Sound Card Detection no sound plays and I get an error message saying sound won't work on the system.
Sound will work but as I said very low. Any suggestions?

OK, I tried the sound detection again and I heard the sound very, very low. How do I get the sound to play correctly?

my test sound works fine and my onboard sound is detected but nothing else works.

figured it out
 

There was a setting that was not correct in the Kmixer. Just push all the sliders up and it should work.
