So it's really an outgoing voice problem? Anyway, is there some sort of mixer or volume control in your GUI that you can fool around with? If so, adjusting the settings for your microphone should do the trick. Assuming that there are settings for the mic.

I have this problem at Fedora 4 and Fedora 5 with Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 and with internal audio too (Abit IC7-G). :( I hear me when takin to microphone, bet skype users don't hear me at this time :(

Like meng said ...it's a matter of configuring the microphone. There are basically two issues to consider. NUmber one ...the volume of the mic, that is ..how loud your voice is heard when you talk ..and whether it should be muted to the general sound output or not. And two, wheter the recording source is set to the microphone. If you've got no gui mixer whatsoever, your next best shot is alsamixer. It normally should be installed out of the box with fedora.
