skype 2.0

Recently I have installed skype-2.0.0.72-fc5.i586 under Fedora 8 in my compaq presario V6000. Everything is fine, except there is no outgoing sound (my voice does not reach to the contact person). The available options for "sound in" and "sound out" are:

(1) Default device (default)
(2) HDA Intel (hw:Intel,0)
(3) HDA Intel (hw:Intel,1)
(4) HDA Intel (plughw:Intel,0)
(5) HDA Intel (plughw:Intel,1)
(6) Pulse

I tried all combinations, but no one worked.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pulse audio must be running to use pulse option.

The best things would be to kill pulseaudio [ pkill -9 -f pulse ] and then
use skype HDA intel ( hw:intel 0) for all [ out/in/ring] and then check if things work fine.

Sorry,
The command 'pkill -9 -f pulse' and setting 'HDA intel ( hw:intel 0)' also could not fix the problem.
