Hey
drop to a root command line and type 'yum install samba'. That'll take care of it. I would also recommend installing Webmin, just because the config for samba is a little easier.

You can also install Samba using the CDs...using the Add-Remove Software GUI.

OK I got samba installed . Took me a while But I can now see the Fedora box from my XP box . and I always could in reverse before.
Now I can see them both But can't browse them . Fedora won't even give a password prompt. And from the fedora box to the XP box it askes for a user and password but doesn't accept it and asks again and again.
Need to do more research on setting up samba. This stuff is brain pounding . LOL Thanks for the tips guys. Allan

now you need to give permission, within the samba config....

Hey
What Mike means is that you need to make sure that the directories you're sharing are readable.
