setup and ntsysv cause FC3 crash

I just upgraded from FC2 to FC3 using yum,and I don't know if this is related.
When I execute setup and ntsysv( up to now, maybe some other commands else),My X is turning to black and Ctrl+Alt+backspace,Ctrl+Alt+Delete are all failing.I have no choice but to reset. Is there anybody facing the same problem as mine? thanks

Re: upgrade

Have you tried setting your inittab to init3 and booting up to see if it will boot up?
