Setting up NFS firewall exceptions
Hello --
I am attempting to set up an NFS mounts through a firewall. The system in question is running the nfsd daemon, and my first task is to configure the appropriate ports which can then be subject to a firewall exception. The firewall currently has port 2049 open, but I know I need to have several other ports open as well. To that end, I have run the rpcinfo -p command, and outputted the results to a file which has been included with this posting.
The /etc/sysconfig/nfs file does not exist on the system in question, so I am creating it from scratch. This other file is also included in this posting. So far I have been able to identify the mountd ports, but I have not been able to to the same for the statd and lockd ports.
How can I identify the ports in question, so they can be included in the file? Also, is there anything else I need to configure on the system?
Thanks.
