Serial port permissions in Fedora 13 to normal users

Hi,

I am trying to get fedora to grant direct access to the serial port my user.
The procedure described in the "moserial" manual involves the 'polkit-gnome-authorization' tool.

The tool, I believe, has been discontinued. Is there any other tool or procedure that will allow me to grant direct serial port access to my user?

System Config: Fedora 13 on gnome - Kernel 2.6.33.3-85.fc13.i686

This may help. Basically, add your user to the dialout group.
