Sendmail - Masquerade
SSH to RH Fedora Core 6 Server from Unbuntu 10.04 desktop.
(yes I am going to upgrade from FC6) I rem'd out several lines in my sendmail.mc (then updated) to remove the "masquerade" lines. I have a spoofing problem and thought I would try this. Now, email seems to work ok but in addition to the test message (which comes through) I get a qmail-send mailer-daemon which says it was not deliverable (even tho it did deliver it). Here's the qmail daemon notice: "Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ip-xxx-xxx-xx-xxx.ip.secureserver.net. I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses. This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out. <duan@ip-xxxxxxxxxxxx.ip.secureserver.net>: --- Below this line is a copy of the message. Return-Path: <bud49@loftusweb.com> Received: (qmail 27715 invoked from network); 4 Jun 2010 09:33:49 -0700 Received: from ip68-3-175-232.ph.ph.cox.net (HELO ?192.168.0.103?) It seems to work ok if I could eliminate the error message... I think. |
Maybe you could just filter that extra mail and divert it to null or something?
