Running Apache on Fedora

OK, I tryed to install Apache with Open SSL, and it works great. Then I tryed to install PHP, too. And then it doesn't work. I tryed several configuration with PHP, and tryed to install it at minimum requirements, without any success.

I use Redhat Fedora 5, Apache version is 1.3.35, PHP version 5.1.4 , OpenSSL 0.9.8a, mode_ssl 2.8.26, and mm 1.4.0. I followed all of instriction which provides with Apache and PHP itself. And it still doesn't work.\

Any help?

Hy rushenas,

Did you compile everything from sourcecode or did you downloaded some packages like rpm.

If compiling from source it would be nice if you could post the error messages here.

If you installed from packages it might be needed that you activate PHP in the apache configuration files.

It should be on the last line something like mod_php. Just remove the # in front of it.

Just some starting point, if you clearify your problems we have a better angle to go on.
