RPMDrake + Urpmi

All,

I have have recently installed Fedora on my computer.
One of the problem I have with Fedora is the fact that management of prerequisites (rpm dependencies) when I want to install a new rpm is not as automated and than with rpmdrake (mandrake). In order to install Mplayer, I had to install manually all the prerequisites (RPM) and then install Mplayer while with rpmdrake, all is automated and integrated.

I used Mandrake 10.1 before and was really very happy with RPMDRAKE.
I was even happier when I used this http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ site to enrich its functionlity.

Is there a similar solution (rpmdrake + easyurpmi) for Fedora ?

Thanks in advance for your answer,
Vincent

You can use yum/gyum or apt/synaptic. They work in a similar fashion to urpmi/rpmdrake. APT for Fedora Core is available from the main repository at fedora.us or freshrpms. If you search on google, you'll find lots of examples on how to setup apt/synaptic or yum/gyum.
