Removing dual-boot and going only to fedora

Well, it has been 3 months since I booted XP and so I have decided that I want to try running without the "safety net".

When I installed RH9 I used Partition Magic 9 to free up some disk space on which to put RH9.

Later I migrated to Fedora and it just used the RH9 space.

I can back up the few docs etc that I want to preserve from XP, but do I need to back up Fedora first or just re-install and tell it to use the whole disk?

FWIW when I went from RH9 to Fedora I did not back up, just put the first CD in and all my OOo docs, Gnome settings etc were carried over perfectly.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Mark

Rather that reinstall Fedora you could format the XP partition to an ext2 or ext3 filesystem and mount the old XP partiton from Fedora. That is what I did with my Windows 95 partition several years ago.
