RedHat 9.0 To Fedora Core 2

I've been waiting for Fedora Core 2 to be released so I could upgrade my existing RedHat 9.0 server to the 2.6 kernel tree. I have two questions for anybody who is using Fedora Core 2. First off, does the development version of apt-get work for Fedora Core 2? I tried one of the test releases for Fedora 2 but apt-get did not work and I'm wondering if this development version of apt-get is working with Fedora Core 2.

Secondly, my existing server uses Apache,MySQl, PHP, and Postfix. Anybody have any issues with these services when upgrading from RedHat 9.0 to Fedora Core 2?

Thanks.

I am a newb that did this exact thing just today (installed Core 2 over Redhat 9)
I have run into two problems (not with the things you mentioned).
(A) The screen was blank after reboot
I assumed a problem with the Xserver
- i fixed this by
(1) getting a different desktop/login/(what do you call that CtrlAlt F2 thing to get another login?)
(2)removing /tmp/.X0-lock (with rm command) and
(3) manually setting refresh rate and resolution in the /etc/X11/XF86-Config file to something I know my monitor can handle ( I found these values by searching in google for my monitor)
(B) The mouse doesn't work (cordless mouse)
I haven't been able to fix this yet.

My question for you (or anyone else) is how can the monitor and mouse work perfectly during install/upgrade and then stop working upon reboot? Obviously, the settings were some default generic monitor and mouse settings during the install how can I just change the mouse settings to those default values?
