How did you install it?

You should do it via rpmfusion.org

use helixplayer

I do not think you need realplayer. If you have the codecs from rpmfusion, then mplayer or VLC player or kaffeine ... should be enough. Helixplayer has not been included in fedora-11,12

What files are you trying to play?

I don't think you need Realplayer. I tried to load and open Realplayer myself. A friend of mine suggested downloading the media players on the Linux Open Source site. I downloaded all I could find. One of them has fixed my problem. Since this download, I have been able to listen to any streaming radio station, not just the ones using Adobe Flash player.

I am assuming that you do have audio from a website that uses flash player. If you don't have any audio, check out the fix NixiePixel has on youtube. Do a search for multimedia codecs. You should be able to find the info.
