Realplayer 10 in fc4

I installed Realplayer 10 Gold from the real website, but when i tried to start it, it gave me the following error
/usr/local/RealPlayer/realplay: line 75: 4418 Segmentation fault $REALPLAYBIN "$@"
I really need realplayer.
Help!

hi,
real player is compiled for fc4 in the fedora extras try to install it with yum or apt-get , for details read this link .

I got the same problem. I can run it as root but as normal user it gives this error message. Don't know why it doesn't work. Many guys on the internet said they installed realplayer in this way

I installed the same player with same results, the installation part was easy, just trying to get to play is a mystery.

realplayer is a joke! i downloaded some pr0n and then happened to notice after it was done that its .rm so i got realplayer 10 for linux (i use fc3) it installed fine and opened no problem but it won't play its own damned file
that is super lame
