Maybe you will have to recompile the kernel. I think the latest ones have support to 64GB of ram memory.

Marco_br is right. You will have to recomplie the Kernel. I think that default support for the Kernel in FC3 was only to support up to 4 Gig.
Try googling for you kernel version.
