Hello everyone, I am having difficulties installing the fglrx-4.3.0-3.9.0.i386.rpm for use on my Fedora Core 2 system with an ATI Radeon 9600 Pro card. I am using kernel-2.6.6-1.435. After installing the RPM, I went to the /lib/modules/fglrx/build_mod subdir to execute './make.sh'. When executing the command, I recieved this output:
XFree86 drm includes at /lib/modules/2.6.6-1.435/build/include/../drivers/char/drm do not fit this driver.
This driver is designed to only work with X4.1.0 or higher.
You can match this by getting Linux kernel 2.4.8 or higher.
Obviously, I have X4.3.0 with Fedore Core 2, and I am running a 4.6.6 kernel. Could anyone please offer advice as to what I need to do to successfully install the drivers?
Thank you,
Jason Atkins
