Problems with eth0 and Configuration tools for eth0
Hi, I have been using my fedora box since 2 months now on a new pc. The network was working faultlessly until today. The device eth0 can no longer be found. Can someone help me add the device again and configure it correctly. There is no graphical interface for this pc.
The problem was solved. I don't know what the problem was but after restarting the pc for the fifth time, the card was correctly detected and everything is working fine! Perhaps someone can explain to me how a device can just disappear like that?
That would depend on your drivers, Nvidia would drive me nuts like that.
So far with Core 6 that crap hasn't happened to me... yet (knock on wood) It happened all the freaking time with FC5.
See if your Mutt has any new messages for the system maybe that would tell you something about what happened.
