Problem with resetting/removing accounting logs - kppp -- FC5
Reset button dosnt do desired action: removing all accumulated accouting information of a dialup account. it only resets volume/costs shown beside it, not other accumulated information (connections, durations...) that are shown only in kppp log viewer.
I enables accounting just for tracking my connections attributes (when and how long each time it was connected) and total connection time before a card account gets expired. things such as phone costs are not needed for me at all (and sent/received volumes is in second place of importance).
In kppp log viewer there isnt any option/functionality to remove/clear any piece of information shown there. Logs bacame a problem because they became a huge bulk of messy and confusing information for each account that I reuse it by changing only its username and password values.
So I have to create a new account (that should have a new account name) to start logging over and clearly!
I searched for a place where kppplogview logs/log file is stored to deleting it manually, but couldnt find anything. I searched in google and my hard drive (with the name of a specific account in files/directorys names and in files contents (but it was too slow to wait to complete and my system almost get hanged)) to find those information place! where is the directory of kppp accounting logs?!
please help me and tell me how to get rid of that logs!
thanks.

I don't have dialup, so I don't use kppp, but it probably stores its files in ~/.kde/share/apps/kppp/.

Thanks! Thanks!
I found its logs location under that directory; it is ~/.kde/share/apps/kppp/Log
After deleting log files my problem gets resolved completely.
thanks again! You are a vary good guy
