problem with dual boot FC3 and WinXP (again)
Hi all !
The problem :
1 - First I have a fat32 partition for WinXP .
2 - I install System commander 7 on the MBR. All works
3 - I install Fedora core 3. I choose manual partitionning with Disk druid :
I create a ext3 mounted as / (7Go )
and swap partition
4 - So my disk have this face :
hda0 : ext3
hda1 : swap
hda2 : fat32
5 - I choose Grub bootloader and I install it on the first sector of boot partition.
6 - I finish the installation.
7 - Reboot : System Commander comes up and recognized Linux and Windows
8 - I choose Linux : it boot normally
9 - I choose Windows : error : it said that a .dll file is missing and cannot boot x_x : (It happened already on 2 pc that I install like that. )
So, for some problems, I decided to format ALL my disk => clean !
Then I install Fedora 3 with a disposition of partition like before.
After that I install WinXP then System Commander. it recognized the 2 OS.
Windows boot normally but now Fedora have problem (arghhhh x_x) : I have grub command prompt :
GNU GRUB version 0.95 ......
[ Minimal BASH-like line .....
grub >
So what can I do ????????
I don't want to reinstall again !!!!!!!! And also, how can I install Fedora 3 on a disk that already have XP without re-installing ALL ????
(sorry for my english)
