Problem with 3d Games after installing Ati 3d graphic driver
Hi, I have successfully installed the ati driver for my ati radeon x300 but after installing some 3d games like Freedoid rpg, ppracer and torcs have stopped working. They just load and when it comes to initialising 3d the close. Can this be solved? What i have noticed is that after installing the 3d drivers the games such as neverball and neverput are faster than before, so it means that the card is functioning correctly! But if there could be something that i can do to make the other 3d games play it would be just great!
Yeh but i can't do that! How would i explain to my dad that the graphic card that he just bought is crap? He would not want to buy another. I think that the problem is with the driver not the card! Perhaps there are come patches out there that can make the card work properly w/out reverting back to an older kernel!
