problem when logging out of gnome


Hello all

When ever I log out of gnome to runlevel 3 I get an error that nautilus has destroyed files still being monitored. anyone have any ideas. where can I look to help me determine why I am gettting this error?

It could help if you log out from X first.

so pressing logout isnt the right way?

Pressing logout should be the correct way to do it. When you mentioned logging "out to runlevel 3", I thought you do it by saying "init 3" in the terminal. So the idea were that the nautilus is not properly terminated when not logged out but dropped to runlevel 3 directly. Well, that wasn't the issue here. ;(
