I'm not much of a linux hacker - can someone suggest an approach
1 - is this perhaps temporary - try later?
2 - uninstall chrome for the preupgrade and then install after?
3 - in the mean time there is a mess of stuff somewhere on my disk - can someone tell me where?
no big problem - I did a full disk backup just before the preupgrade and I can always just switch to the backup disk
when i run df i see that my boot partition is now 73% full - whereas it previously was perhaps 25% full - so I guess that's where much of the material downloaded went.
