PROBLEM: Nvidia graphics FC4 test3

I have tried to install nvidia drivers, but so far no luck. I have followed many instructions from the web but still it ends with creating new xorg.xonf.
I have installed the drivers for now, but I can't use them, because every time I change nv to nvidia, the X server won't start anymore.
Can you suggest something or some rpm package or something to get the drivers to work?

BTW:
Chaintech Geforce FX 5200 128 MB
Samsung Syncmaster 753DFX
Fedora Core 4 Test 3

are you able to show all the changes that you make when you are trying to
use the drivers. Include all lines you add to the file, and edit ..

If you had selinux enabled when you installed the drivers, you will need to reinstall them again by doing as root,

Code:

#setenforce 0

And then doing the normal procedure for installing the nvidia drivers. This should solve your problem.
