problem mounting Zip drive

Hello world! Annoying little problem getting my zip drive to mount correctly. Left to its own devices, Fedora adds my zip in /etc/fstab as:
dev/hdb4 /media/zip auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
I click on the zip drive and get error message:
Unable to mount the volume. There is probably no media in the device.
Under more details:
mount /dev/hdb4 is not a valid block device
If I go to the Hardware Browser, it lists the zip as /dev/hdb. Another forum suggested removing the word "managed" from lines in /etc/fstab. I did this and edited the line in /etc/fstab from /dev/hdb4 to /dev/hdb. Everything worked great until I rebooted. A new line popped up as:
dev/hdb4 /media/zip3 auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
Now I have 2 zips listed, one that works and one that gives me the same error as above. How can I get Fedora to correctly list my zip drive (and only one zip drive!)? The only suggestions I've found talk about linking files and other things I really would not rather mess with.
Thank you for your help

Thanks for the reply. Manually mounting the zip drive isn't a problem, I'm just trying to get Fedora to do it for me automatically.
Here is my current /etc/fstab:
# This file is edited by fstab-sync - see 'man fstab-sync' for details
LABEL=/ / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
none /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
none /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
none /proc proc defaults 0 0
none /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
LABEL=SWAP-hda5 swap swap defaults 0 0
/dev/hde1 /mnt/littlejohn vfat rw 0 0
/dev/hdb /media/zip auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t, 0 0

/dev/hdd /media/cdrecorder4 auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
/dev/hdc /media/cdrecorder5 auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
/dev/hdb4 /media/zip5 auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
/dev/fd0 /media/floppy2 auto pamconsole,exec,noauto,fscontext=system_ubject_r:removable_t,managed 0 0
Lines starting /dev/hde1 and /dev/hdb I added for my auxiliary drive and to get my zip mounted. At this point I'd just like to learn what's going on here.
One point I did notice, I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to 2.6.10-1.770_FC3 and did yum update to get everything else updated
