problem in contacting netgear switch layer3


Can anybody tell me how to contact a device which is in vlan via a netgear layer3 switch? I assigned 4 ports to a vlan .Its not pingabble

that is the whole point of a vlan - it is like qhysically seperating segments
so you either have to be in that vlan or you create a management interface, ie. a port that is in vlan default and vlan 1
