Angry Problem Accessing Yahoo Inbox from ALL browsers; some other sites wont open either

Hi guys,

I installed Fedora Core 3 on my system yesterday.

Im having problems accessing my Yahoo Mail Inbox in all browsers (firefox, konqueror et al). It logs in, shows me the number of unread mails, but then it does not follow ANY link on the page..remains stuck at "waiting for usf90.mail.yahoo.com"..this happens with ALL browsers..eventually it times out and reports "There is no data on this page" in Firefox..im frustrated coz i have to boot up in windoze just to read my mail

Moreover, this happens with sites like google too..the main google.com page opens fine, then when i click on any of the links like "images", it keeps "waiting for www.google.com".But strangely, i am able to search for pages on the web! Many other sites get stuck at specific locations..it keeps "waiting for ...". Happens in all browsers.

I have one other email account at a private mail server, thats working fine.

Whats going on??Must be some system-wide setting, but which one?? ive tried clearing all cookies, caches, etc, that doesnt work either.

Im accessing the Internet through a gateway on our LAN. I have all firewalls disabled.

Help!!

Thanx in anticipation,

Mayank

I'm having the same problem with Yahoo Mail. On all my browsers. On all my computers. Including the Windows computers.

Yahoo mail's web servers are obviously having some problems right now!
