Pine won't send email, can't read inbox, I'm a new Fedora user

I have just recently installed Fedora Core 3, I can now boot Mandrake or Fedora. I like Pine email client, always used it with Mandrake with no problem. But I can't seem to send mail with Pine in Fedora. Evolution sends fine, but Pine doesn't. It says it is sending it, but when I send myself a test email and then check it, there's nothing there.
I heard something somewhere about Red Hat not processing mails unless the "From" and "Hostname" variable are the same. Is there some way to compile Pine with the "From" header fixed this way? Thanks.

Well, never mind. A Google search turned up the following link, it might be helpful to some others.
I know I'm not supposed to "bump" a thread, but it seems appropriate here.
