i have fc 7 in my laptop (DELL Latitude D820).
everything is very good but last night i was updating with autoupdate when adsl modem restarted & crash downloading package .
in morning turn on laptop , in loading services (send mail & cups) loaded but with a lot of delay .
i went /etc/rc.d/rc5.d/ & kill send mail & cups .
restarted !
everything was good but login screen loaded with delay & everything run with a lot of. delay .
Why?
how to fix it ?
if there is a script for fix it please let me .

Don't use f-words in your posts (or thread topics!). Anyway, it's not a script you just "tune". A good way to do upgrades, especially bigger ones, is to first use the program with "download only" -option (so it doesn't install anything, just downloads everything needed) and after that run it with the install option. This helps in case your router/modem/other cadget dies suddenly, taking down the connection.
Maybe you already read your package manager's logfiles? What was it upgrading when the poweroff happened? Run a full system upgrade if you want, that should fix problems caused by unfinished upgrades. Though remember that doing a "dist-upgrade" might not be a good idea every day.
