partition problems in FC@

I just started using FC2 a few weeks ago. I partitioned my HD into 3 hda's. I have a dual boot with xp pro and FC2. i have xp pro on NTFS, FC2 on ext3 and i have a vfat partition. im trying to get it where i can read and write to the vfat from my user. i have looked at many posts and havent found anything that works. When i first installed FC2 i set up the 3rd hda and named it /data. it is being picked up, but only root can write to it. please help. i've tried: /dev/hda3 /windows/D vfat auto,utf8,umask=0 0 0 and restarted it and still nothing, i've been in the fstab a lot and changed around a bunch, still nothing. any suggestions please help. thanks

Brian
