package installs...

I have a laptop with a busted CDROM drive. So I installed Fedora via mirrors.kernel.org with a http install...

Now I realized that I missed some package that I want to install (namely kernel source), and I run the package manager to try to install it and it asks me for CD....help?

I downloaded the kernel-source rpm separately and did an rpm -i and there is a dependency on gcc32....I am not very good with RPM stuff...help here also?

If there is a dependecy problem with gcc32, you'll have to install that package also. check this thread about installing kernel source.

Fedora comes with yum as a standard, if you're connected to a broadband or better internet connection, you can use yum to download and install the package .. yum will do the dependencies checking and download all required stuff ..

logon as root

$ yum install kernel-source

Good luck ..

Its should be yum and not yurn .. yum stands for yellowdog updater modifier (yellowdog is RedHat based distribution run on PPC machines). Do a 'man yum'.
