Out of synch sound in flash/firefox 2

32-bit firefox on 64-bit fedora 6.
Flash plays and so does sound but there is a delay of about a second with sound.
Tried installing also-oss and running firefox with aoss and various other fixes but I haven't found anything fedora specific.
Sound in mplayer plugin is ok and in synch.

Forgot to mention I'm using Flash 9 beta but the issue was also there with stable version.

Hello shame,

I saw this issue in Flash 7 but not in Flash 9 beta. Does running Firefox from the command line output any errors into the terminal?

Nope, no errors at all. I've read of out of synch problems with earlier versions of flash but it seemed to be corrected in this one. I've never had the problem with any version til now.
Also, I ought to mention, I have flash 9 on both kanotix and suse and sound is normal.
Maybe the difference is I'm using 64-bit fedora but suse and kanotix are both 32-bit?
