optimizing fc5

i finally got WoW working in linux, so i'll be using fc5 as my full-time OS now. im somewhat new to fedora, i used redhat 7 and 8, and then switched to slackware up until recently. i noticed that there are quite a few services running by default on fc5, more than i'm used to anyways, so i'm looking for tips on what i can keep from running and what's just taking up resources.

if anyone has tips on what services are unnecessary or just general tips for getting fc running faster, post here - thanks !
