Oops, I let my new windows install overwrite my FC2 bootloader on the MBR...

Using SuSE, I could always boot off the install CD, it would search for the SuSE / partition, boot the installed OS, and I could run YaST to reinstall the bootloader.

How can I boot up my FC2 install (on the same hard drive as Win), and once I do, how can I reinstall Grub as it once was? I know there's a "Rescue" mode on the 1st install CD of FC2, but I don't know what to do once I boot into Rescue in order to restore Grub to its former glory.

Sorry for the noob questions, but help is appreciated. I want to move Doom3 over to linux as soon as the linux client is released.

I believe if you boot the Fedora core cd and at the boot prompt enter "linux rescue" This will allow you to boot to your Fedora install. It will look for it for you if you ask. Once in you can run "grub-install /dev/hdX" X being your HDD letter. This will install Grub back over the XP boot loader. I am not sure if this will properly allow you to boot XP or not however. I am more familiar with Lilo. I hope this helps.
