Onboard Intel video driver needs to be set at every bootup

Hi All,

My nVidia PCIe card malfunctioned and I've sent it for a replacement because its still under warranty. I'm using the onboard Intel Extreme Graphics now but I have to setup the driver for X everytime Fedora boots.

In the video card configuration, it says as using 'Experimental modesetting driver for Intel Integrated graphics chipsets' and in xorg.conf the device is "intel". The system works fine once everything is set, no problems there. So I was thinking, maybe, whatif I change the driver from "intel" to "i810" in xorg. Will it work since both are Intel? And will it save the setting?

Some suggestions
Thanks
