Nvidia 173.08 driver works OK with 9600GT card, Fedora 8

Hullo All,
I'm running Fedora 8, Asus Nvidia 9600GT graphics card and kernel 2.6.24.7-92.fc8.x86_64.
I have downloaded the Nvidia binary driver 173.08 (beta) and compiled a kernel module for the driver.
The installation, compilation etc all went flawlessly...just follow the nvidia destructions.
All the compiz desktop effects (or those that I know about) seem to be working OK.
Hope this is of use to anyone else who has been waiting to get binary driver support for a 9600GT card.

Cheers,

No, I have made a decision to avoid F9 for a while, as I have seen quite a bit of discussion around the traps that seems to indicate there are problems with Nvidia 9600GT and F9...so stick with F8 until things setlle down.

Cheers,
