I am using lotus domino for linux, I do not want to use Domino service. Is there anyway to run lotus domino automatically when computer starts?

If there a daemon the needs to be run when starting Domino. Maybe more than one. What you are probably using is a script the starts the a /etc/init.d/service script. If so you can use chkconfig to have that service start when certain runlevels start. Try running "chkconfig" to see if there is a service you can enable on certain run levels.

I'm sure the documentation for it contains instructions as well. Even if a program doesn't install man pages, info documentation or PDF docs, it probably will have README and INSTALL text files under /usr/share/doc/<package>/.
