Not enough disk space for Fedora 17?

Recently I decided to install Fedora 17 on my Asus Eee PC 901. It has 2 disks, a 4GB faster one and a 16GB slower one.
Unfortunately, Fedora wants 4GB for /, which I can provide (On the faster disk), however it wants to have /usr on the same disk. I have a 10GB parition that I use for /home, and would prefer not to format. So I could have a 4GB / partition and 6GB /usr. Is there a way I can get the installer to allow me to do this, or will I have to stick with another distro?

it wants /usr on the same disk?? What does that mean? It doesn't care where it is. FC17 will (presuming it's not changed recently) recommend an LVM for everything except /boot (or maybe now including boot) so there should be no issue about where you put the partitions.

See http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/UsrMove and http://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Soft...ForTheUsrMerge

I eventually realized that there was an option I was missing on the first partitioning page. Thanks for the replys anyway.
