No user sound following upgrade from Fedora 9 to Fedora 10.

I upgraded a working Fedora 9 installation to Fedora 10 using the installation DVD. Sound works for root but not for other users. All of the pulse audio RPMs are installed. This appears to be a permission issue as it works for root. My user is a member of the 3 pulse Groups. Any help is appreciated.

Try running this, as root:

chmod a+w,a+r -vR /dev/{snd*,dsp*,mix*}

If it really *is* a permissions issue, the above will solve it.
