No sound - MSI K7N2 motherboard :(

Hello,

I upgraded to Fedora today from RH9. Fixing the Nvidia graphics was a breeze, however I can't get the sound functionality to work. The sound is built in to the MSI K7N2 (nforce2) motherboard.

Has anyone managed to get the sound working? If so, I would be very grateful if you could tell me how you did it.

Thanks in advance.

J.

Hmmm.

I switched the output plugin in xmms to arts, and it started to work!

Tux Racer also started to work complete with sound. :s

I have no idea how it all managed to kick in... Tux racer sound never even worked in RH9!

Perhaps this thread could come in useful for anyone with similar problems in the future. I just wish I could put detailed instructions on how I fixed it in here...
