no /dev/dsp before modprobe fedora core 11

i dont have a /dev/dsp afther rebooting my system,,
everytime i need to
Code:
modprobe snd-pcm-oss
to get /dev/dsp running again.
i need it for vmwares ossdriver.

i also reinstalled alsa-oss and alsa-oss-plugin but i still need to modprobe it.

somebody nows how to fix this.

thanks in advanced

/etc/rc.local

i entered
modprobe snd-pcm-oss
into /etc/rc.local

and i think it is correct now its working so.
