No core:(


I have a FC6, a program which segfaults but it doesn't dump core?Any idea why, or what can i do to make it dump core?

You can make a process dump core by informing bash ahead of time that what you're going to run should be able to dump core.

For a short tutorial in informing bash of this, type these commands:

ulimit -c
ulimit -c unlimited
ulimit -c
ulimit -a
help ulimit
