Unhappy newbie : connectiong fc4 via cable modem


hey there...

i've just installed fc4 (without any problem.....shish , lucky me eh?)
but now theres a problem ; i want to connect to the internet and dont know how....


i have 2 puters....1 running xp and the other....as u expected : fc4 , connected by lan to a router which is connected to a cable modem.
i use the router to share the cable modem for both of the puters.
the thing is that this router doesnt dial.....
i have to configure a dialer or whatever its called in fc4 to connect through this mishmash....help....someone???

I simply installed FC4 then powered down. plugged into the router and restarted and (as long as the modem is configured properly) was online.

Watch during boot to see if your FC4 box was issued an ip from eth0
