New to Fedora Core and yum...
I'm normally a Slackware user so I'm not used to dependancy checking. I did a "yum install xboard" and it's now downloading what seems like hundreds of these .hdr files. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal operation?

That's what it should do. HDR files are just header files, which clears everything up, of course! :)
They are files that contain info about the available package; what it is, what version it is, what dependencies it needs, etc. |
