Network unreachable

hi,
I have network connection problem. i have installed fc4 and configured all drivers carefully but it still doesnt work for me.

im using: Realtek RTL8139 Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC #2 ,

as you can see it's the eth1 card, my eth0 card is onboard. I'm forced to use the eth1 because my network providers locked all MAC addresses. I have this problem more then 2 weeks so i have surffed all fedora and linux forums but still didnt get the answer. My card is active but no effect. i tried to activate both but when i try to open page it says sometihg about couldnt open the page, and when im pinging my gw or trying to locate any network machines it says something like network unreachable or unaccessible. but i can ping my self ":)" somewhere i read that if i couldnt ping myself it would be the driver and hardware problems.

I have read about manual dns , eth<x> configurations and other and tried doing almost everything, still i dont know what is that "APIC" thing and ICP or IPQ thingies, in one of the threads i read about disabling the APIC in BIOS but i didnt find the option there my BIOS driver is: "Phoenix - AwardBIOS v.600PG" it said that linux uses those from 1 to 17 or 18 and i found on my BIOS NIC setup those 1 to 15 and option was autodetect or autoselect.

Forgot to mention that dhcp protocol cant get anything too. I found a thread that tought me how to enable it manualy but still didnt get any answers.

I wont paste the ifconfig info because it looks like other and people say that is fine second reason im using winxp so no direct way to copy the text.

Things i havent tried yet:
I dont know how to configure firewall
I dont know about that APIC

If you need any other information about my hardware and software just ask here and write how can i get it (because im not advanced in using linux) on display.

Sorry for bad english.

Are you able to disable the onboard ethernet card from the BIOS? This may stop FC getting confused about the configuration.

Btw, the point of these forums is to share the answers for other people in future, so I very much doubt that anyone will bother mailing you in person. Much easier and more helpful to post up here.

Dont know, about disabling onboard NIC because when my pc is booting there is "realteck ... boot agent" meniu and it gives 5 sec to pres SHIFT + F10 to enter boot agent meniu but no results after pressing or holding the buttons, and in BIOS meniu i cant find anything about onboard NIC.

also i forgot to mention that i have static ip address
so my configuration is

and here are some of my configurations:

and about that APIC:
I found out that i can disable APIC if i disable the hyper-threating technology, also when it is enabled option: MPS version control for OS sets to 1.4

Icu2 03-23-2006 03:25 AM

and now i can see the difference of ifconfig lo configuration is different to ifcfg-lo configuration.

also i dont know what means
"lo"
"Loopback"
"PEERDNS=yes" - dont understand this option
"BOOTPROTO=static" // default option is none , but in one thread i saw that static ip users changes it to static, so i dont know is it good or not.

And about onboard NIC i cant get into the NIC boot agent configuration setup with that SHIFT-F10 combination.
