Nameserver setup

I am using FC1 and am setting up some DNS zones with the GUI conf. I seem to have no problem with host and MX but when I am attempting to setup the NS records I am getting strange results. Any one done this or have a link to explain it? I had no problem in RH8 & 9 but this config is a little different and does not generate the same output.

does your MX and A records works fine?
FC1 's named dameon runs in chroot environment,rh9 not,

No they are not. When I try to add a nameserver, it will only write myself.com serverd by ns1. It doesnot write out the FQDN. The file it generates reflects this also

i didnt like fedora gui tool for named. i edited files myself, it works well.

i edited /var/named/etc/named.conf
and i created zone files in /var/named/chroot/ directory.
