My sendmail process hangs on boot up

Hi.

Working in FC2 with sendmail v8.12.11-4.6, the daemon hangs on
boot up.

My '/etc/hosts' file:
---------------
127.0.0.1 localhost pc02
192.168.2.102 pc02
----------------

My '/etc/sysconfig/network' file:
---------
NETWORKING=yes
HOSTNAME=pc02
---------

If I do:
# ping pc02
it resolves properly, so... what am I doing wrong?

Thank you very much.

My guess is that "192.168.2.102 pc02" from your host file is borking things. Remove that line and then try it.

EDIT:
Or remove pc02 from the 127.0.0.1 line. Whichever you want it to resolve to, remove the other one. It can't be both.
