Music Playlist Access via network

What I would like to do is access my Quinnessential Player music playlist via my Linux system.
(Fedora Core 4)

This playlist is on my Windows XP system as well as my music files. I do have xmms & quinnessential player (www.quinnware.com) (via wine) installed. Is there any way for me to access this playlist over the network with xmms, quinn* player, or some other linux based audio player.

Try gnump3d - this will stream your music to anywhere, then you play it with whatever you like. I think it handles playlists but i don't use them. I use it to get my music from my home linux fileserver. You can tunnel it through ssh if you want to be more secure. It's a web interface but I'm pretty sure it doesn't need a webserver running.

Thanks for the reply, but later in the day I answered my own question. This is what I said and did.

Duh!! I can mount the Samba share and load the playlist via xmms.

#mkdir /mnt/mntpoint
#mount -t smbfs -o username=username,password=password //windowssystem/shares /mnt/mntpoint

$xmms&
Then load playlist... Listening Pleasure commence!!

P.S. If I am not mistaken, if no username or password is required "defaults" can be used as placeholders. IE: username=defaults, password=defaults

I will have to try "defaults" later.
