Hi, i've recently got a laptop and finally got into the mousepad / touchpad thing. However in certain applications (esp. gedit) I keep on pasting unintentionally. At first this wasn't a real problem but I now seem to be doing it more often and this morning i've probably spent a full hour chasing down numerous stupid paste errors (and i'm in php with error reporting off!). I've looked through most settings on both Fedora8 and gedit, but i'm not spotting anything. Surely theres a simple setting somewhere. Please save the life of my laptop before it gets seriously hammered!
rubadub, that setting should work. Just restart X by pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL and it should re-read that config file. Or you can restart your computer. Whichever is more convenient
I can't do it to order. It's happened when finger is along bottom or top-right... I've seriously spent 20 mins whilst talking to a pal trying to invoke it, it just makes no sense to me.
I did have a read of many mans last night, but not really what I need. I'll probably get a bit deeper this weekend?
