mount point invalid for root directory error during Fedora setup

Hi,
I am using the custom setup on Fedora to set up my dual boot system. The first 2 partitions belong to Windows for normal operation and recovery. The next partitions I have in this order:

Hda3 100Mb /boot
Hda4 15Gb /root
hda5 2GB /swap
hda6 the rest of drive /home

The problem is this. When I give Hda 4 the name 'root' I am given the error:

This mount point is invalid. The /root directory must be on the /file system.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks,
Tim
