mount NTFS - doesn't work!

OK, so I installed FC4 and dowloaded and installed the RPM for my kernel version and machine (p4 2.6 w/ HT):

http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/l...r.6.0.i686.rpm

It says the RPM installed correctly, but when I /sbin/modprobe ntfs I get 'module not found'! Also, no 'ntfs' when I cat /proc/filesystems.

One question, since the p4 is HT, do I need the 'smp' version?

Any help is sincerely appreciated!

(sorry, tried to search the forum, but it don't work either..)

Yes. You need the "smp" one.
